Try a Public Course
Not a Member of a Country Club? No Problem!
Women golfers can find public golf courses almost anywhere in the United States. Local courses are advertised in the yellow pages and more and more commonly on line. Your travel agent is also a good source of information, recommendations, and reservations for public courses when you are traveling.
Public golf courses are just what they sound like: golf courses that are open for play by the general public. Public golf courses are often the best place to learn golf and determine if the sport offers you the kind of recreational experience you are seeking.
